Arch Dental — Mill Woods, Edmonton
Dr. Rakhee Parmar

South Edmonton Dentist
Dr. Rakhee Parmar has been practicing since 2013 and sees patients at Arch Dental in Mill Woods, south east Edmonton. She completed a pediatric mini-residency and treats families across the whole age range, with a particular interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
Why Dentistry
Dr. Rakhee’s interest in dentistry began with her own experience as a patient. “Growing up, I had quite a bit of dental work followed by braces. Because I had a really positive experience with my dentist, I decided at a young age that I wanted to become a dentist,” she shares.
Education and Advanced Training
Dr. Rakhee earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University in Florida, graduating in 2013. A highlight of her training was working with children at the university’s dental clinic, which inspired her to complete a pediatric mini-residency at the University of Minnesota.
She also attended the highly selective American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry conference, an annual invitation-only event featuring leaders in cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
Building Meaningful Patient Relationships
What sets Dr. Rakhee apart is her commitment to forming strong, lasting relationships with her patients. She takes the time to understand each individual’s unique goals and concerns, ensuring that every treatment plan is tailored for comfort and confidence.
Her gentle approach and warm demeanor help patients feel at ease—especially those who may be nervous about dental visits.
“I want patients to feel truly comfortable coming back for their dental care. We’re not a fast-paced, in-and-out emergency clinic—we offer a friendly, family-oriented environment where patients are known by name and cared for with genuine attention.”
Outside of the Office
When she’s not crafting beautiful smiles for her patients, Dr. Rakhee enjoys traveling, practicing hot yoga, and cooking healthy meals. She loves experimenting in the kitchen and creating new recipes.
Dr. Rakhee is also passionate about giving back to the community. She provides free dental care to underserved populations through The Alex Dental Health Bus, a mobile oral health clinic. Additionally, she volunteers with the CUPS Clinic, offering free dental services to Syrian refugees and those in need.
